The Important Dates & Info For Homebrewing

  • 5/1/2017 THRU 6/18/2017 - ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THE HOMEBREW COMPETITION.
  • 6/24/2017 THRU 7/8/2017 - DELIVERY WINDOW FOR THE BOTTLED ENTRIES.
  • 7/15/2017 - HOMEBREW COMPETITION DAY.
  • ENTRY FEE IS $7 PER HOMEBREW ENTRY.
  • JUDGING WILL FOLLOW THE 2015 BJCP STYLE GUIDELINES.
  • THIS IS A BEER ONLY COMPETITION, MEADS & CIDERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
  • HOMEBREW COMPETITION WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 50 ENTRIES.
  • TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED TO 1ST PLACE IN EACH FLIGHT AND BEST OF SHOW. RIBBONS WILL BE AWARDED FOR 2ND & 3RD PLACE. ​
  • EACH ENTRY SHOULD INCLUDE TWO 12 OUNCE BOTTLES WITH A FILLED OUT BOTTLE LABEL RUBBER BANDED TO EACH BOTTLE.​













How to Register

FILL OUT ENTRY FORM FOR EACH CRAFT BEER SUBMISSION. INGREDIENTS AND PROCEDURES SECTION IS NOT REQUIRED.

MAIL OR DELIVER ENTRY FORM AND PAYMENT TO DROP OFF SITE. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO DECATUR MAIN STREET
A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WILL BE SENT WHEN YOUR ENTRY FORM AND PAYMENT ARE RECEIVED.

Experience the tastiest sights, sounds, and smells of some of the best barbecue in the country. Whether you’re craving a sample of ribs, pulled pork, or chicken, you’re sure to get your fill.

Sample just a few from our selected barbecue competitors…or for the brave of heart with the emptiest of stomachs…try them all!

We will be selling bbq sample tickets for $1.00 each. This money will benefit the Decatur Rotary Club.

​Decatur Fire Department will be selling soft drinks, chips, and snacks for a fundraiser as well.
